OUR VISION
To promote family and youth literacy as a foundation for success in every aspect of life, helping to ensure that every child and every community located in impoverished and under-resourced areas across our cities, states and beyond are assured access to wrap-around educational and programmatic resources that elevate and enrich the general welfare of families with future generations through the cause of literacy.
Recognizing literacy is critical to realizing human potential, and it is our view that unrealized potential is one of the most pressing human rights of our time. We intentionally in all of our efforts and ways aim to “acknowledge HIM who we believe directs our paths”, and to ultimately “uphold the vocation in which we are called not to condemn the world but manifesting that the world through HIM might be saved”, consequently celebrating HIM “who has called us out of a life of darkness into the marvellous light ” through the power and access to literature.
On October 31, 2011 the United Nations Population Fund estimated the world population exceeded the 7 billion people milestone. Accordingly our broader vision is to aid in mobilizing a constantly growing world population, putting an end to community and family degeneration and poverty by first ending a pervasive literacy crisis, “one child, one family, and one community at a time.” “Together In Unity” promoting unanimity among millions across the globe to unite together, recognizing “this is the generation of them who seek HIM” and that it is through HIM we can collaboratively “rebuild what has broken”, uniting our global community through an increasing and shared vision that “literacy unites.”
