H.I.M. Founder has long supported the ideals and values of Points of Light Founder President George H.W. Bush who urged American’s with traditional values to engage the country in becoming “a force for good”. In President Bush Inaugural Address he called on Americans “to engage in hands-on, active service to their country and communities as points of light”. In so doing H.I.M. Founder continues to be an advocate for Points of Light and its mission. H.I.M. graciously serves our nation as a point of light fostering religious dialogues that encourages us to set aside our differences, causing us to unite for common purposes, supporting the belief that service to humanity changes the world.
The Founder of H.I.M. was an early responder to the call from President Bush for thousand points of light to help solve our nation’s problems. In so doing he continues to honor the life legacy of President Bush by pledging as an Ecumenical Leader to serve, promoting peace and unity among all nations.

President Obama has been a strong supporter of empowering ordinary people to do extraordinary things by improving their local communities through service. In response to the Presidents call to action Reverend Ray Mackey accepted the invitation in 2012 to partner under former Special Assistant to President Obama and Executive Director Joshua DuBois of the White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. As a Faith Based and Neighborhood Partner Reverend Mackey through H.I.M serves the nation by engaging neighborhood organizations, non-profits, various religious groups and Faith leaders around the country sharing in identifying best practices, collective impact models for successful modes of advancing understanding the effectiveness of religious accord in communities.
Reverend Ray Mackey maintains a call to serve as partner to the White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships under current assistant to President Obama, Executive Director Melissa Rogers and is fully supportive of President Obama’s faith mandate. “The particular faith that motivates each of us can provide a greater good for all of us. Instead of driving us apart, our varied beliefs can bring us together to feed the hungry and comfort the afflicted; to make peace where there is strife and rebuild what has broken; to lift up those who have fallen on hard times” ~President Barack Obama

While representing the U.S. as a former International Basketball Player and Business Executive, and prior to being ordained into Ministry, H.I.M Founder developed a passion for International Peace Building. But it was not until his first Peace Building Mission Briefing in 2011 at U.N. Headquarters as a Non Government Organization, (NGO) Representative that he came to appreciate the brevity of Peace Building, receiving more in-depth knowledge of the U.N. and its primary responsibilities of international peacekeeping, building and security. Getting indoctrinated on how U.N. Officials work to prevent conflict, helping parties in conflict and making peace; creating conditions to allow peace to hold and flourish. Challenged by U.N. Officials in its efforts to increasingly find new ways to bring together key factors from across the public, private and civil society, H.I.M via its Founder partnered with the U.N. Peace Building Support Office (PBSO) as a supporting NGO. Recognizing that Peace building is task for everyone, from national governments, civil societies and local communities to international partners in order to create and maintain sustainable peace. The U.N. often utilizes Economic Sanctions and sometimes imposes more severe actions. However, frequently missing from the resolution equation is necessary input and support from a council of Global Religious Leaders as a whole. As a PBSO, NGO H.I.M urges in country and multi-stakeholder to fund and support the enactment of the U.N. Religious Council in show of a National ownership and solidarity among Religious Leaders around the world. Help H.I.M to urge the U.N. PBSO to foster the inclusion of Religious Leaders from around the world, to have a systematic impact and global voice, pertaining to the millions of lives in which Religious Leaders mutually share influence and maintain vital responsibility.
